Novalog was founded in 1989 by Roch Burton, a mechanical engineer with a master's degree, who specialized in hydraulics and applied software. The first license of CatBase was sold in September 1993 to one of the biggest underground mines in North America. Since then, Novalog has been entirely dedicated to developing and marketing CatBase. |

Our mission is to design and develop software tools to facilitate the access to technical documents required for the operation and maintenance of machines and equipment. The efficient maintenance of equipment depends, to a large extent, on the quick identification and procurement of replacement parts. Studies conducted by CatBase users have shown an improvement of 60% to 75% for replacement part searches. |
